## Contact
Email [email protected] for help with installation, billing, scans, optional history, report coverage, product actions, or account deletion. We aim to respond within one business day.
## Connecting optional history
Product and margin diagnosis remains available without connecting order history. If you choose Analyze existing orders, DPD explains the fields it uses and asks for consent before starting. Shopify approval, your grant, and runtime access are separate checks. A connection that is declined, pending, or revoked does not start an import.
The report names the requested and effective UTC intervals, source, as-of time, and any limitation. A ready_limited result means the accessible history was processed completely while a longer requested interval was unavailable; it is not an indefinite loading state.
Without separately approved wider access, the cohort normally targets Shopify's recent-order window and can be shorter when the source is incomplete. A retry or capacity error keeps the last completed report stale instead of replacing it with an empty result.
## Understanding a result
"No qualifying orders found" is scoped to the displayed dates and accessible source. It does not mean a product was never sold or establish an exact last-sale date. Paid-then-cancelled orders still count as demand evidence, while retained-unit quantity can be zero or unknown. Inventory observations are shown separately from order cohorts.
See the metric definitions for the evidence and coverage rules behind each result.
## Privacy and requests
Optional history minimizes retained order and line evidence. DPD does not request customer identity or order-write access and does not put raw order IDs, customer identifiers, payment details, or transaction payloads in reports, exports, email, logs, or support fixtures.
For a deletion or data request, contact support through your authenticated Shopify merchant context. Do not email customer names, email addresses, payment details, raw order IDs, access tokens, or unredacted screenshots.
Read the Dead Product Detector Privacy Policy for retained-data, deletion, and restore-quarantine details.
## What to include
- Your Shopify store domain — never an access token.
- What you were trying to do.
- The report state or error shown in the App.
- Whether the issue affects a scan, optional history, billing, or a product action.
Redact customer and order identifiers from screenshots and attachments.
